Job Description

A leading national trading enterprise is seeking a highly experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Sales and Commercial Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership across its commercial functions. The role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share, strengthening brand equity, and enhancing customer satisfaction across duty-free, duty-paid, craft, and tourism-related products and services.

The DCEO will lead integrated sales, marketing, and business development strategies, oversee multi-channel commercial operations, and build strong partnerships with government entities, international suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide commercial strategies aligned with strategic objectives

• Lead and coordinate sales, marketing, and business development directorates

• Identify and expand into new domestic and international markets

• Oversee sales performance across business units and regional outlets

• Introduce and manage sales performance monitoring and reporting systems

• Drive product diversification, pricing, and profitability strategies

• Lead high-impact marketing and brand positioning initiatives

• Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and alliances

• Ensure customer insight, feedback integration, and service excellence

• Oversee commercial budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control

• Provide visionary leadership, mentoring, and performance management

• Promote innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics

• Certification in Business Leadership, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, or Sales Leadership (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of progressive leadership experience

• At least 5 years at senior director level leading sales, marketing, or business development

• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial operations

• Hands-on use of CRM, ERP, or analytics-based sales systems

• Evidence of continuous professional development within the last 3 years
