Job Description

A diversified business group with operations across agriculture, manufacturing, consumer goods, and commerce is seeking an experienced Group Operations Manager to lead and optimize its end-to-end operational performance.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the role carries full authority and accountability for overseeing administrative, financial, and operational activities across all business units. The position is responsible for translating corporate strategy into actionable operational plans, driving efficiency, managing resources, and fostering a high-performance, compliance-driven organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and supervise daily operational activities across all business and support divisions.

• Ensure operational efficiency, quality, cost control, and alignment with corporate policies and standards.

• Partner with the CEO in developing strategic plans, operational budgets, and business priorities.

• Translate strategic direction into measurable operational plans and KPIs.

• Monitor operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.

• Oversee supply chain functions including procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, export laws, labor laws, food safety standards, and corporate governance.

• Collaborate with finance on forecasting, cash flow management, and operational financial reporting.

• Promote a culture of accountability, safety, continuous improvement, and performance excellence.

• Prepare and present regular operational and performance reports to senior management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• MBA / MSc / MA in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role.

• Strong exposure to manufacturing, trading, and export-oriented businesses.

• Solid understanding of ERP systems.

• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-division operations.
