Job Summary:

The Product Owner in IT Solution Directorate plays a critical role in driving the vision, strategy, and delivery of a product or product portfolio. They act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that the product roadmap aligns with business objectives and customer needs. With a strong focus on maximizing value, the Product Owner manages the product backlog, prioritizes features, and ensures seamless communication across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals and market needs.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure timely, high-quality releases that meet acceptance criteria and stakeholder expectations.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clear requirements and smooth product delivery.
• Act as the key link between stakeholders and development teams to translate business needs into deliverables.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing features, technical debt, and quality.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and hands-on experience in product backlog management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and able to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Professional certifications and experience with complex, cross-functional products are an added advantage.
