Job Summary:
A Product Manager in IT Solution Directorate is responsible for defining and driving the strategic vision of software products, ensuring they meet customer needs, align with business goals, and stay competitive in the market. They act as a bridge between cross-functional teams such as Design, Development, and Business Development team to ensure the successful planning, development, and launch of software products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and prioritize product roadmaps in collaboration with product owners and cross-functional teams to align with business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Gather and analyze input from customers, stakeholders, and market data to prioritize product features and enhancements.
- Work closely with development teams to define product requirements, features, and functionalities for timely and high-quality delivery.
- Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, positioning, and marketing activities.
- Coordinate with development and design teams to ensure products meet user needs, quality standards, and technical requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
- Monitor product performance by tracking KPIs, analyzing trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
- Engage customers through feedback sessions, user testing, and surveys to support continuous product improvement.
- Provide leadership and drive continuous improvement of product development processes, tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years proven experience in software development or a technology-focused company. Preferred if 3 years of experience related to Product Manager.
- Proficiency in issue tracking tools like Jira or Azure, Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software tools used in the software development industry.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Knowledge of market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Technical expertise in software development concepts, APIs, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to manage multiple products or features simultaneously and analyze user behavior and customer journeys.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and adaptability skills in fast-paced environments.
