Job Summary:

The Business Analyst in the IT Solution Directorate plays a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions. The position is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring that software and system solutions effectively support organizational goals. The Business Analyst works closely with stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive successful project delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Translate business needs into clear specifications, use cases, process flows, and user stories.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular reporting on requirements status, risks, and progress.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating delivered solutions against requirements.
• Support solution design by ensuring business requirements are accurately reflected in technical and functional designs.
• Analyze existing processes and systems to identify gaps and recommend improvements or digital solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to clarify expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or software development.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), APIs, data flows, and system integration.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar for documentation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong experience in business and system analysis, requirement documentation, and Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analyst) and experience with ERP, finance, logistics, or digital platforms are an advantage.
