Job Summary:

The Scrum Master in IT Solution Directorate is a key leader responsible for driving Agile practices across multiple teams or complex projects. This role ensures that Scrum principles are consistently applied, fosters a culture of collaboration, and removes impediments to enable teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently. The Senior Scrum Master also mentors junior Scrum Masters, coach’s teams on Agile best practices, and works closely with stakeholders to align team goals with business objectives. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Ensure teams follow Agile principles and continuously improve processes
• Coordinate Agile practices across multiple teams, aligning dependencies and deliverables
• Foster collaboration and communication between development teams, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team productivity and progress
• Address organizational or systemic blockers affecting multiple teams
• Mentor and coach junior Scrum Masters and Agile team members
• Train stakeholders on Agile principles to ensure alignment
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain well-defined and prioritized product backlogs
• Track and analyze key metrics (sprint velocity, burndown, throughput) to improve performance
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in Agile adoption and efficiency
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices
• Implement and support Agile scaling frameworks in multi-team or large-scale environments

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or a related field. 
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile leader, preferably across multiple teams or complex projects.
• Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Proven expertise in facilitating Scrum ceremonies and driving team collaboration
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address impediments and conflicts
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms)
• Advanced certifications preferred (CSP-SM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP)
• Experience with Agile transformations or scaling Agile practices across organizations
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus
