Position Overview
The Graphic Design and Social Media Management Officer is responsible for developing high-quality visual content and managing Frontieri’s digital and social media presence. The role combines graphic design, content management, and social media coordination to ensure consistent branding, effective storytelling, and strong audience engagement across platforms. The Officer will work closely with communications, research, and management teams to translate complex ideas into compelling visual and digital content.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Graphic Design and Visual Communication
- Design and produce professional visual materials, including reports, policy briefs, proposals, presentations, brochures, infographics, and digital publications.
- Ensure consistency with Frontieri’s brand identity, style guidelines, and visual standards across all materials.
- Format and enhance organizational and project documents to meet high-quality publication standards.
- Support creative concept development for campaigns, events, research dissemination, and corporate communications.
- Prepare print-ready and digital-ready outputs with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Translate complex research findings and technical content into clear, engaging visual formats.
Social Media Management and Content Coordination
- Plan, develop, schedule, and publish content across Frontieri’s social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and others).
- Develop visual and written content aligned with Frontieri’s communication strategy, brand voice, and institutional objectives.
- Maintain and manage a structured social media content calendar.
- Monitor social media performance, engagement, and trends, and prepare periodic summary reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment between social media content, website updates, and ongoing projects.
- Support digital campaigns aimed at increasing brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and thought leadership.
Collaboration, Quality Assurance, and Innovation
- Work closely with research, business development, and management teams to support communication needs across portfolios.
- Ensure quality control of all visual and digital outputs prior to publication.
- Proactively suggest improvements to design processes, digital tools, and content delivery approaches.
- Stay informed on emerging design trends, social media best practices, and digital communication technologies.
- Support additional communication and branding tasks as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication, Marketing, Multimedia, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design, digital communication, or social media management.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects and Premiere Pro are advantages).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Working knowledge of Figma, WordPress, and content management systems (CMS).
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Practical experience managing social media platforms and digital content.
- Knowledge of UI/UX and accessible design principles is an asset.
