The Legal Secretary provides administrative and legal support to the Legal Counsel, ensuring accurate documentation, effective coordination, and confidentiality in all legal matters.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Legal Counsel and legal team
• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, letters, and correspondence
• Prepare and manage filing systems, both electronic and physical
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments
• Assist with the preparation and submission of legal documentation and court filings
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties such as law firms and government institutions

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal administrative role
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
