Key Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Design and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and culture.
• Advise the CEO/Board on workforce planning, succession, and leadership development.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, engagement, and ethical leadership.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and retention.
• Manage training and development programs to build organizational capability.
• Ensure competitive compensation and benefits aligned with market standards.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws and international HR standards.
• Develop and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
• Lead HR audits and manage employee relations with integrity and fairness.

Technology & Innovation

• Implement HRIS systems for data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage analytics to monitor workforce trends and optimize HR strategies.

Key Requirements

• Education: BA in Management/Business Administration; Master’s in HRM, Organizational Development, or MBA (HR).

• Certifications: CIPD, SHRM, HRCI highly desirable.

• Experience: 10+ years in HR leadership, with 5+ years at executive level.

• Skills: Organizational culture building, succession planning, conflict resolution, board-level HR policy design.

• Attributes: Empathy, emotional intelligence, ethical stewardship, strategic influence.

• Requirements: Eligible under Ethiopian labor law; willingness to travel.
