Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete financial records of the organization and ensuring that all accounting transactions are properly recorded, verified, classified, and reported.
The position manages day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, accounts payable and receivable, bank and cash reconciliation, payroll-related accounting, tax and statutory obligations, financial reporting, budgeting support, and financial documentation.
The Accountant ensures that financial activities are conducted in accordance with applicable Ethiopian laws, tax regulations, accounting standards, and the organization's financial policies and procedures.

Reports to: The Import and export Manager
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, Accounting, Finance or any other related field.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, tax compliance, and general accounting is required.
Experience using computerized accounting systems or ERP systems is highly desirable.
Experience in a similar industry or organization is an advantage.
