Velox import and export company specialize in importing high quality car product and spare part from FOTON brand and exporting coffee from various Ethiopian region such as jimma, nekamet, Limmu sidamo, yirgachefee, Wolega and Guji.

JOB SUMMARY

The main responsibility of Accountant will oversee general accounting operation by controlling and verifying our financial transaction. This role is responsible for reconciling account balance and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. The accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial record, performing complex balancing and reconciliation activities, and preparing detailed financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and closing: Lead the month end and year end close processes. Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with established accounting standard.

• Ledge rand reconciliation:  Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements and intercompany transactions. Investigate and resolve any variances.

• Tax and compliance: Assist with tax preparation, statutory filings and ensuring full compliance with local, federal, and industry-specific financial regulation

• Audit support: Serving as the main point of contact for external auditors. They prepare audit schedule, organize financial documentation and ensure internal controls as solid.
