Job Summary

Jewad Building Contractor is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to support the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, recording financial transactions, preparing accounting documents, assisting with account reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. The role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong numerical skills, and a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, expenses, and invoices.
• Prepare and process payment vouchers, journal entries, and other accounting documents.
• Monitor income, expenses, and financial transactions to ensure proper documentation.
• Assist with bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Organize and maintain financial records for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with applicable financial procedures and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting.

Work Experience

• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in accounting.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
