FULL-TIME ACCOUNTANT & CASHIER

Valid Auto PLC is an automotive company engaged in the sale of automotive spare parts and Bajaj three-wheeler vehicles. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant & Cashier to manage our daily financial transactions, accounting records, cash operations, inventory records, payroll, and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain all daily financial transactions.

• Handle cash, bank, sales receipts, payments, and daily cash reconciliation.

• Issue receipts/invoices and accurately record customer payments.

• Manage petty cash and maintain proper supporting documents.

• Record spare-parts and vehicle sales and purchases.

• Maintain and reconcile inventory records.

• Prepare monthly Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Trial Balance.

• Monitor accounts receivable and payable.

• Prepare employee payroll and related deductions.

• Calculate and prepare VAT and income tax obligations.

• Ensure timely tax filings and maintain tax documentation.

• Prepare regular financial and sales reports for management.

• Identify and report cash, inventory, or accounting discrepancies.

• Maintain organized and confidential financial records.

Salary

Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field.

• 2–4 years of professional accounting/cashier experience.

• Practical knowledge of Ethiopian VAT and income tax.

• Experience with cash handling, reconciliation, inventory, and payroll.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience with Peachtree/Sage, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar accounting software is an advantage.

• Experience in automotive, spare parts, vehicle sales, retail, or trading businesses is preferred.

• Honest, organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
