Job Summary

The Architectural Engineer (Design & BIM – QC) is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and ensuring the quality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance of architectural designs, drawings, BIM models, and related technical documents with approved design standards, project specifications, building codes, and client requirements. The position coordinates with multidisciplinary design teams to identify and resolve design discrepancies, maintain BIM model quality, and ensure consistency between architectural and other engineering disciplines throughout the design and documentation process.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or with related field of study

• Experience: 2 years for Bachelor's Degree and 0 years for Master's Degree holders

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, design documents, specifications, and details to ensure technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards and building codes.

• Verify architectural designs against project requirements, client expectations, approved design criteria, and contractual specifications.

• Check floor plans, elevations, sections, layouts, schedules, and construction details for consistency and accuracy.

• Identify design errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and nonconformities and recommend corrective actions.

• Review architectural design submissions before approval and issuance to ensure compliance with established quality requirements.

• Review architectural BIM models to ensure compliance with the approved BIM Execution Plan, modeling standards, naming conventions, and level of development requirements.

• Check BIM models for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project information requirements.

• Verify model elements, parameters, classifications, annotations, and drawing outputs against project standards.

• Conduct model quality checks to identify duplicate elements, missing information, incorrect geometry, and modeling inconsistencies.
