Café Barista for EV Showroom

Job Description

Job Purpose:- Prepare and serve high‑quality coffee beverages, manage the café counter, and deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Gleey showroom’s premium brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and signature beverages.
• Operate professional coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area at all times.
• Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables.
• Ensure Bale Mountain Coffee branding and product standards are consistently upheld.
• Engage customers with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Support showroom events and customer hospitality activities.
• Coordinate with the Gleey showroom manager for daily operational needs.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards in accordance with company policy.

Qualification and Skills

Education:

• Completion of Grade 10/12
• Training in coffee preparation or certification from a recognized coffee academy is an advantage.
• Additional advantage: Barista training or certification from a recognized institution.

Experience: 

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a barista in a specialty café.
• Experience working with premium brands or hospitality environments preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong barista skills with hands‑on experience in specialty coffee preparation.
• Ability to calibrate grinders and maintain espresso machine consistency.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and behavior suitable for a premium showroom environment.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles.
