Main Purpose of the Job
To provide trainees with theoretical and practical knowledge, skills, and ethics that enable them to competently care for infants and young children in accordance with standard practices of childcare, safety, child psychology, basic health, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
Training Preparation and Delivery
Conduct theoretical and practical training for nannies based on the company's training curriculum.
Prepare and deliver specialized training modules focused on childcare, basic First Aid, hygiene maintenance, meal preparation, and nutrition.
Teach child psychological development and professional ethics necessary for building positive relationships with families.
2. Trainee Evaluation and Monitoring
Periodically evaluate the skill and knowledge levels of trainees through examinations and practical assessments.
Provide additional support, guidance, and follow-up for trainees needing extra assistance.
Identify trainees who meet all program requirements and recommend them for certification.
3. Instructional Materials and Environment Preparation
Develop and update supplementary training materials (manuals, video lessons, and practical training equipment).
Ensure that the training room and practical tools are always clean, functional, and ready for sessions.
4. Reporting and Administrative Tasks
Maintain records of trainee progress, attendance, and evaluation scores.
Prepare and submit regular training activity reports to the Operations Manager.
Skills and Personal Attributes
Strong communication and instructional skills.
Known for patience, empathy, and a strong love for children.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with trainees from diverse backgrounds.
Basic computer skills for presenting training materials via slides or videos.

Detailed Description
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Early childhood care and education, Nursing, Childcare, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
Work Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in childcare, nursing, training, or teaching. (First Aid and Early childhood care certification is preferred).
Language Skills
Proficient in spoken and written Amharic and English. Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
Computer Literacy
Basic proficiency in standard computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email/Internet).
