Job Description

Job Purpose

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, high-quality, and patient-centered nursing care, first aid, and basic clinical services to company employees. The role supports workplace health, disease prevention, occupational safety, and clinical inventory management within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Treatment: Provide primary first aid, clinical assessment, treatment, and emergency care for employees experiencing workplace injuries or illnesses.

• Vital Signs & Monitoring: Assess, monitor, and record patients' vital signs, treatment progress, and medical history accurately.

• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, dressings, and treatments in accordance with medical protocols and professional nursing standards.

• Occupational Health & Safety: Collaborate with the safety team to monitor workplace health hazards, support occupational health screenings, and promote hygiene and safety standards.

• Clinic & Day-Care Support: Assist in managing internal clinic and day-care activities, ensuring proper sterilization, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.

• Record Keeping: Maintain confidential, accurate, and up-to-date employee medical records and daily clinic visit logs.

• Inventory Management: Track and manage basic clinic medicines, first-aid kits, and medical supplies, reporting shortages to management.

• Health Education: Educate workers on general wellness, occupational health practices, illness prevention, and proper ergonomic/safety habits.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or related field) from a recognized institution.

• License: Valid professional nursing license to practice in Ethiopia.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in clinical settings, occupational health, or industrial/factory medical services.

• Skills & Competencies:

• Strong clinical assessment and first-aid skills.

• Good interpersonal, communication, and compassionate care abilities.

• Basic knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) practices.

• Organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation.
