Job Description

Sher Ethiopia PLC is one of the largest and most influential horticultural enterprises in Africa, specializing in the cultivation and export of premium-quality roses. To strengthen our team, we are looking for 1 Clinical Psychologist / Counsellor.

The Clinical Psychologist / Counsellor will provide confidential psychological and psychosocial support to Sher Ethiopia employees/workers and Sher School students. The position will support employee wellbeing, gender and grievance case handling, sexual harassment and safeguarding cases, and student counselling.

           Key Responsibilities:

Additional criteria / competences

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in counselling or psychological services

  • Provide confidential individual counselling to employees and workers experiencing personal, emotional, or work-related challenges.

  • Provide counselling and psychosocial support to Sher School students, particularly adolescents

  •  Provide psychological first aid and emotional support to victims/survivors of sexual harassment, gender-based violence, abuse, or other traumatic incidents

  • Support the Gender Committee and Compliance Team in handling sensitive gender and sexual harassment cases through psychological support and risk assessment.

  • Support employees who raise serious or sensitive grievances by providing appropriate counselling and referral services.

  • Conduct psychological and psychosocial assessments and identify cases requiring specialized or urgent support

  • Conduct awareness sessions for workers and students on mental health, stress management, resilience, respectful relationships, sexual harassment, and available support services.
