JOB TITLE: DELIVERY CONTROLLER

The delivery controller is in charge of overseeing, receiving, distributing, and storing items in the warehouse and production line while making sure that inventory management, documentation, and adherence to company policies and procedures are all done correctly. A delivery controller manages the continuous, timed flow of parts and finished goods to prevent work stoppages. A delivery controller ensures that the line never runs out of parts and that finished products move out on time. They act as the bridge between the warehouse and the factory floor, tracking inventory in real time and solving bottlenecks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
❖ Material Tracking: Monitor part levels at workstations and trigger quick re-supplies or warehouse picks to prevent shortages.
❖ Oversee inventory management processes, including tracking, controlling, and reporting materials and supplies.
❖ Schedule Alignment: Match material delivery with the daily production plan.
❖ Discrepancy Resolution: Fix missing parts, wrong counts, or delayed raw materials immediately.
❖ Verification: Check that incoming raw materials match technical specifications and model categories of the production order.
❖ Return Control: Manages the reverse flow of unused or leftover raw materials from the production floor back to the warehouse.
❖ Cross-Team Communication: Talk constantly with warehouse staff, line supervisors, and teams for effective production.
❖ Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Education: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Job Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing/assembly line/related fields as a storekeeper.
Skills: Inventory management, organizational proficiency, record-keeping, data entry, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.
Knowledge: Lean 5s, Kaizen, product control basics.
