DESIGN COORDINATOR

Job Summary

EASE Engineering PLC is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to manage multidisciplinary design coordination and ensure complete, approved design information is available for tendering and construction.

The successful candidate will work closely with specialist designers, engineering teams and project-delivery functions to coordinate design submissions, technical interfaces, BIM requirements and construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and specialist design interfaces.

• Review tender drawings and identify missing or conflicting design information.

• Coordinate external designers and specialist technical inputs.

• Prepare and monitor design schedules, submissions, RFIs and approvals.

• Coordinate BIM requirements, model reviews and clash-detection activities.

• Track drawing revisions, design changes and technical clarifications.

• Ensure approved design information is available for construction.

• Coordinate as-built information and design closeout.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: BSc in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant design-coordination experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong multidisciplinary drawing-reading and coordination capability.

• Required proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM coordination.

• Contractor or design-build experience is preferred.
