EARLY YEARS / KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS & SUPPORT EDUCATORS – KERA CAMPUS
Job Description
Transcend International School is seeking qualified and passionate Early Years/Kindergarten educators and support staff to join our Kera Campus. This is a dynamic role within our Kindergarten environment, supporting young learners through engaging, age-appropriate, and holistic learning experiences. The successful candidates may contribute across Early Years teaching, English, Amharic, Afan Oromo, Computing, Physical Education, Life Skills, and classroom support, according to their qualifications and areas of expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for young children.
Support children’s academic, social, emotional, physical, and character development.
Develop foundational language, numeracy, communication, and digital skills.
Support creative, physical, and play-based learning activities.
Promote positive classroom behavior, confidence, independence, and teamwork.
Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the wider academic team.
Maintain a safe, caring, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Support extracurricular and school-wide activities where appropriate.
Job Requirements
Requirements
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or recognized teaching qualification.
Experience working with Kindergarten/Early Years learners.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Warm, patient, creative, and child-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
International-school experience is an advantage.
Candidates with expertise in English, Amharic, Afan Oromo, Computing, Physical
Education, Life Skills, or classroom support are encouraged to apply.
