Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise electrical works at our construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating electrical crews, supervising installations and repairs, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting the timely completion of electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, assign, schedule, and supervise electrical works and crew activities.
Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and lighting.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure electrical works meet required quality and safety standards.
Supervise the installation of electrical equipment, including switchgear, lighting systems, transformers, meters, and related equipment.
Monitor the availability and proper use of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
Prepare material requirements, cost estimates, and project projections.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Train and guide electricians and helpers on proper work procedures.
Coordinate with Site Managers, design engineers, vendors, and other relevant parties.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety requirements and applicable building and health and safety regulations.
Identify electrical problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
Review and support the upgrading of electrical systems and procedures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory or lead experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, materials, tools, and installation practices.
Experience in interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices and relevant building and health and safety requirements.
Ability to estimate material and labor requirements.
Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively under construction site conditions.
