Job Description

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: EV Charger Installation Technician

Key Responsibilities

Install, test, and commission AC and DC fast-charging stations for electric vehicles.
Conduct site surveys, assess load requirements, and evaluate electrical panel capacities.
Wire, conduit-run, and connect high-voltage/ampere circuit breakers and charging units.
Perform routine maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repairs on EV charging infrastructure.
Ensure all installations comply with national electrical codes, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years proven experience in electrical installations, power distribution, or EV charging systems.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Technical knowledge of circuit breakers (e.g., C-type miniature/molded case breakers), grounding systems, and load balancing.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical schematics.
Good communication skills and ability to work safely in field operations.
