Job Summary

On behalf of our clients, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The ideal applicant should have at least two years of relevant work experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to carry out electrical work safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, equipment, and components.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify faults, defects, and potential safety risks.
• Diagnose electrical problems and perform troubleshooting and necessary repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical installations and equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Use electrical tools, testing instruments, and equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and completed work.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and electrical standards at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• TVET certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Practical knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to identify electrical faults and apply effective solutions.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
