Job Summary:
Factory Managers oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards. This senior leadership role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and direct daily production activities to meet output targets and customer delivery requirements.
Oversee production planning and resource allocation, including work force, materials, and equipment, to optimize workflow.
Ensure all products meet established quality standards and customer specifications.
Implement and maintain quality control systems and procedures (e.g., ISO, HACCP).
Promote health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance by making sure the factory complies with all corporate policies and local laws (such as those pertaining to workplace safety and health).
Develop and manage the factory budget, controlling operational costs, labor, and materials.
Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives and productivity improvements.
Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules and customer demand.
Manage employee performance, conduct reviews, and oversee training programs to build capability.
Work with engineering teams on new product introductions, equipment installation, and factory modernization projects.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory or managerial leadership role.
