We are seeking a competent Financial Executive to oversee finance, administration, and operational activities at the headquarters and project offices. The role is responsible for ensuring sound financial management, regulatory compliance, efficient office operations, and effective support to program implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial functions including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and Ethiopian legal requirements.
- Oversee office administration, procurement, logistics, asset management, and risk mitigation activities.
- Support HR-related functions including payroll administration, recruitment processes, staff performance follow-up, and capacity building initiatives.
- Strengthen operational systems and provide strategic support to improve program efficiency.
- Coordinate with project teams on financial monitoring, reporting, and operational matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional accounting certification and proficiency in accounting software is an advantage.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably including experience within NGOs or development organizations.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian financial regulations, tax laws, labor legislation, and donor compliance requirements.
