Duration: 7 consecutive working days from the date of vacancy announcement.

Job Summary

Assists the company in the overall planning, development, and implementation of Environment, Health and Safety initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conduct incident investigation and root cause analysis; conduct risk assessments and propose operational controls; influence safety culture at all times.

• Execute programs to ensure regulatory compliance obligations are fulfilled and that environmental risks are managed.

• Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.

• Develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company.

• Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

• Monitor compliance with safety procedures.

• Draft inspection reports to document inspection findings.

• Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.

• Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

About the Candidate

Education

• BSc/MSc in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field of study.

Experience

• 4 years for BA, 2 years for MA with relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry is preferable.

Other Personal Attributes

• Willingness to accept changes and implement them.
