Job Summary

CCECC Ethiopian Branch is looking for an experienced and capable Human Resource Manager to oversee and coordinate HR activities within the organization. The position will be responsible for supporting workforce planning, employee management, performance, talent development, and employee relations while ensuring effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the company’s HR activities and functions.

• Support workforce planning, recruitment, and talent management.

• Develop and implement employee performance management processes.

• Manage compensation, employee benefits, and related HR matters.

• Support talent reviews and employee development initiatives.

• Maintain positive employee relations and handle workplace concerns and disputes.

• Manage and coordinate both local and expatriate employees.

• Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Ethiopian labor laws and company policies.

• Identify potential HR risks and take appropriate action to address them.

• Prepare HR related official documents, reports, and proposals.

• Support HR budget planning and management.

• Coordinate effectively with different departments and management.

• Maintain effective communication across employees from different cultural backgrounds.

• Perform other HR related duties as required.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least 8 years of relevant HR experience, including 3 years in an HR management role within an international company.

• Good knowledge of different HR functions, particularly workforce planning, compensation, performance management, talent management, and employee relations.

• Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws is an advantage.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both local and expatriate employees.

• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and organizational skills.

• Ability to identify HR risks and effectively resolve workplace disputes.

• Good skills in preparing official documents, reports, and proposals.

• Knowledge of HR budget planning and management.

• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a demanding work environment.
