Job Description
. Purpose of the Job:
To enhance the reliability and security of the system and ICT infrastructure by maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems and web.
3 Main Duties and Responsibilities:

3.1. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
3.2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network
and system problems, and replace defective components when
necessary.
3.3. Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection
software.
3.4. Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer
systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and
use.
3.5. Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to
be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the
future.
3.6. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect
data, software, and hardware.
3.7. Analyse equipment performance records to determine the need for repair
or replacement.
3.8. Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems.
3.9. Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and
determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
Job Requirements
4. Education and Related Work Experience
4.1 Education
TVET III/IV/BSC/MSC Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent qualification
4.2 Related Work Experience
8/6/4/2 years relevant work experience for non -engineering or 6/4/2/0 years for
Engineering respectively
