IT Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing hardware, maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring data security, and providing technical support to internal teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to keeping our systems running smoothly.

Job Requirements

• System & Network Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, routers, switches) and network infrastructure.

• User Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

• User & Access Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and security groups in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Odoo or Google Workspace.

• Cybersecurity & Data Safety: Implement security protocols, administer endpoint antivirus/firewall settings, and run regular system backups.

• IT Asset Management: Maintain an updated inventory of all tech assets, licenses, and software subscriptions.

• Documentation & Training: Create user guides for standard procedures and provide basic IT onboarding and security training to staff.

• Technical Support: Serves as the primary contact for resolving hardware, software, and remote connectivity issues while tracking incidents to meet SLA standards.

• Odoo ERP Administration: Hands-on experience with Odoo administration, module deployment, user/access rights management, and basic troubleshooting or database maintenance.

How To Apply

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or system maintenance.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems.

• Core networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).

• Hands-on experience with Odoo administration

• Familiarity with Cloud management (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Google Workspace, AWS).

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, clear communication skills, high organization, a proactive mindset, and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure. 

• Preferred Certifications (Bonus): CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Associate.
