IT Support Officer – CNET ERP V7 (POS )

Job Description

Sky Gate Duty-Free PLC is a growing travel retail company committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. We are seeking a qualified, motivated, and responsible IT Support Officer to support our CNET ERP V7 system, point-of-sale (POS) operations, and inventory management activities.

The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth operation of our sales and inventory systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely IT support to shop employees across assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for the CNET ERP V7 system, including sales, POS, and inventory management modules.

• Ensure the proper functioning of POS terminals, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and other retail hardware.

• Troubleshoot ERP application errors, failed sales transactions, system access issues, and connectivity problems.

• Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, computer hardware, software installations, LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, and internet connectivity.

• Provide technical support during system failures, network interruptions, and power outages, following established business procedures.

• Coordinate with ERP vendors, implementation consultants, and external IT service providers to resolve complex technical issues.

• Maintain records of IT incidents, troubleshooting activities, system changes, and shift handover reports.

• Work independently during assigned shifts to minimize system downtime and ensure uninterrupted shop operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting CNET ERP V7, preferably in duty-free, retail, supermarket, or other POS-intensive operations.

• Practical knowledge of ERP-based sales transactions, inventory management, stock movements, and daily closing procedures.

• Experience troubleshooting POS terminals, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and other retail peripherals.

• Good working knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to diagnose application errors, connectivity failures, hardware issues, and transaction processing problems.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and customer-service skills.

• Ability to work independently, respond promptly to urgent technical incidents, and prioritize issues based on business impact.

Preferred qualification

• Previous experience supporting CNET ERP V7 in a live retail environment.

• Familiarity with POS sales workflows, fiscal devices, Z-reports, electronic journal (EJ) files, and sales reconciliation.

• Knowledge of stock balance reports, stock ledgers, goods receiving, store transfers, and damaged-goods management.
