About the Role
BESYS Technologies PLC is seeking a motivated, execution-oriented Junior AI Engineer who is passionate about transforming artificial intelligence concepts into practical, real-world solutions. The ideal candidate has foundational AI knowledge, hands-on experience with AI tools and frameworks, and the drive to build, test, and deploy AI-powered applications that address real business challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered applications and solutions.
Build and integrate AI models, APIs, and frameworks into software applications and business workflows.
Develop and maintain Python-based scripts, applications, and AI integrations.
Experiment with large language models (LLMs), generative AI, prompt engineering, and other relevant AI technologies.
Test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize AI solutions for accuracy, performance, reliability, and usability.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to translate client requirements into practical AI solutions.
Document technical implementations and stay updated on emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant AI training, bootcamps, or professional certifications are required.
Technical Requirements
At least six months of hands-on experience experimenting with AI tools, frameworks, APIs, or AI application development.
Good programming skills in Python.
Basic understanding of machine learning, generative AI, LLMs, and AI application development.
Familiarity with AI APIs, such as OpenAI-compatible APIs, or frameworks such as LangChain or similar tools.
Basic knowledge of Git, REST APIs, and software development practices is an advantage.
Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, or deploying applications is an added advantage.
