Junior Branch Operation Support Officer

Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

To facilitate and provide regular support to regional Offices/branches in their effort of branch expansion and resource mobilization.

Job Requirements

• Education: BA in Business Management, Accounting, Economics Business Administration, Finance and Economics or any other related fields                .

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant Banking experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing strategy to provide the necessary assistance facilitation to branches/regions in their effort of maximizing revenue

• Provide the necessary facilitation and supports to the smooth operation of regions /branches

• Take part in development/review, proper implementation of branch operation procedure

• Collect and organize regions’ enquiries for facilities and services from the Head Office and follow up that they are all addressed as necessary

• Collaborate and complement other organs, regions/branches on resource mobilization, branch expansion, cross selling and customer retention undertakings;

• Identify and propose additional formats/changes in the exiting formats that may be required

• Handle other related duties as assigned by his/her supervisor

Specific Functions:

• Provide the required assistance in all activities of the work unit

• Properly maintain important files/records and avail when required

• Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices

• Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank

• Participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget, performance report of the division

• Provide the concerned organ with timely, relevant, accurate, and complete reports on the plan performance

• Handle other related generic activities as deemed necessary
