: Junior Mechanics

General Purpose of the Job: The work involves supervision of, and participation in, the repair of a variety of automotive and heavy equipment. This position is distinguished by the advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in automotive maintenance repair.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance: Performing regular maintenance on automated equipment such as automatic feeders, drinkers, ventilation systems, and fans to ensure they operate properly and to minimize downtime.

• Repairs and Troubleshooting: Assisting in identifying mechanical issues, repairing broken equipment, and replacing worn parts such as belts, bearings, and seals.

• Equipment Monitoring: Monitoring the functionality of incubators, generators, and climate control systems (temperature and humidity) to meet industry standards.

• Technical Support: Assisting with the installation or adjustment of machinery and helping with technical duties such as welding or electrical repairs.

• Record Keeping: Maintaining records of maintenance activities, repairs, and the use of spare parts.

• Safety Compliance: Following safety protocols, such as lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

• Emergency Response: Responding to equipment failures promptly to ensure the health of the birds and to avoid production losses.

Job Requirements

• Qualification:  Level 3, level 4 in mechanics.

• Experience:  4/2 years of relevant work experience
