Maleda Foam and Plastic Manufacturing is looking for qualified and motivated professionals to join our team for the following position:

Position Summary
The Laboratory Person / Technician is responsible for conducting and reviewing laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process materials and finished products, and for ensuring that quality control data and records are accurate, complete and compliant with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and review laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process materials and finished products, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good laboratory practices (GLPs).

• Monitor and verify quality control data and reports, ensuring all results are technically correct, complete and compliant.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensure proper documentation, and keep the laboratory clean and organized.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs and contribute to the development of new or revised test methods.

• Document all activities in compliance with regulatory and internal record-keeping requirements.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.

Added Advantage

• Experience in a quality control laboratory in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Knowledge of SOPs, GLP, equipment calibration and quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and good record-keeping.

• Computer literacy, including MS Office.
