MINISTRY EXAMINATION TEACHERS – GRADE 6 & GRADE 8

Job Description

Transcend International School is seeking qualified and experienced Ministry Examination Teachers to prepare Grade 6 and Grade 8 learners for national examinations. Teachers will be responsible for delivering effective instruction, strengthening subject mastery, and preparing learners through structured assessment and examination-focused strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Ethiopian National Curriculum.

• Prepare students effectively for Ministry examinations.

• Develop examination-focused learning plans and revision programmes.

• Conduct regular assessments and track student progress.

• Identify learning gaps and provide targeted academic support.

• Prepare students through past examination papers, practice tests, and appropriate assessment

strategies.

• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Recognized teaching qualification relevant to the subject area.

• Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian National Curriculum.

• Proven experience teaching Grade 6 and/or Grade 8.

• Demonstrated experience preparing students for Ministry examinations.

• Strong assessment and instructional skills.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Relevant subject expertise in one or more of the advertised areas.
