Job Description

American Medical Center would like to invite interested and qualified applicants for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to newborns requiring intensive care.

  Advertisement

• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, and other clinical parameters of neonates.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

• Operate and monitor neonatal equipment, including incubators, radiant warmers, and oxygen delivery systems.

• Assist physicians during neonatal procedures and emergencies.

• Maintain accurate nursing records and document patient progress.

• Educate and support parents regarding newborn care.

• Maintain infection prevention and control standards.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

• Valid professional license from the relevant regulatory authority.

• Relevant work experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is required.

• Good knowledge of neonatal assessment, monitoring, and intensive nursing care.

• Ability to identify and respond promptly to neonatal emergencies.

• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to patient safety, professional ethics, and confidentiality.
