As a media organization committed to independent, credible, and impactful journalism, we are looking for someone who can help tell compelling stories through powerful visual reporting.

Job Purpose

We are interested in hiring a promising Photojournalist to join our editorial team in our bid to visually tell the stories that matter through accurate, ethical, and compelling photography. The successful candidate should have the desire to be "out and about," covering events and capturing moments as they unfold, with the technical proficiency to tell stories using professional cameras, digital tools, and computer software.

In addition to having a strong understanding of modern cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and image editing software, candidates must demonstrate a firm commitment to journalistic ethics. As a media company, we value authenticity and accuracy in visual storytelling. The successful applicant must uphold the principle of "record what you see and present what you saw," ensuring that images are truthful representations of events and are free from misleading manipulation.

Job Requirements

Experience: Applicants with one year of photographic experience

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organizational skills and values for the news industry whose photos may be adjusted electronically to make them plain to readers but should not be manipulated to alter their meaning are preferred.
