Production Shift Leader (Bishoftu)

Job Description

The Role 

As a Production Shift Leader you will make workers perform a variety of tasks from receiving fresh milk to finished products. You will keep the daily operation of production and giving direction and controlling every production activity of workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations and production flow 

• Planning the worker’s shift rotation 

•  Workers’ performance and improvement plan 

• Daily reporting 

• Reporting technical concerns to the supervisor 

• Daily reporting about incidents of the last 24 hours  

• Perform the production plan for the coming 24 hours. 

• Make sure the job is handed over properly to the next shift 

• Have the responsibility to report problem(s) with regards to the FSMS to identified person(s) 

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree Dairy technology, food science or related fields 

• More than 2 years’ experience in dairy 

• Good communication skills 

• Energetic and passionate to learn more. 

• Committed to deadlines
