Professional Photography, Videography, and AI-Powered Design Trainer | Short-Term Consultancy

About the assignment

EFFR seeks a qualified professional photographer, videographer, or digital content trainer to deliver practical, accessible training for beneficiaries of Phase 2 of its E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship Program. The training will help small-business participants create quality product photos, promotional videos and AI-assisted marketing designs using smartphones and accessible digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on smartphone product photography and videography training, including lighting, composition and camera angles.
• Demonstrate basic photo/video editing using accessible mobile applications.
• Coach participants to produce product images and short promotional videos suitable for social media and online selling.
• Guide practical exercises, provide feedback and share simple tips for continued practice, including the use of AI tools to design promotional materials, create social media posts and improve product marketing content.

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated professional experience in photography, videography or commercial product photography.
• Previous experience facilitating practical training or workshops.
• Knowledge of smartphone content creation, social media marketing and practical use of AI-powered design tools for digital promotional content.
• Ability to deliver training in Amharic; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Experience supporting community groups, refugees or small businesses is desirable.

Expected deliverables

• A completed one-day practical workshop and guided exercises.
• Participant-created product photographs, short promotional videos and AI-assisted promotional designs, subject to appropriate consent.
• A brief completion summary with attendance, observations and recommendations.
