Receptionist & Cashier

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Receptionist & Cashier will manage front desk operations, patient registration, appointment scheduling, and payment transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy healthcare setting. Priority will be given to female candidates

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere

• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments

• Register patients and maintain accurate records in the clinic’s system

• Process billing, receive payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient privacy at all times

• Assist with general administrative and office tasks as required

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• BSc in accounting and finance

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role; experience in a healthcare setting preferred

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry

• Who can speak English, Amharic, and Afan Oromo

• Priority will be given to female candidates.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor
