Position: Van Driver (FMCG)

Location: Addis Ababa

Employment Type: Full-time

Reports to: Sales Supervisor

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the logistics and sales teams in executing daily distribution plans.

• Drive the company van safely and efficiently during sales and delivery activities

• Transport sales staff and products to assigned city routes

• Assist the sales team with loading, unloading, and handling of goods

• Issue official sales receipts to customers upon delivery and ensure proper documentation

• Collect payments where applicable and submit receipts and cash to the responsible office/personnel

• Support sales staff with necessary operational tasks during field activities

• Ensure timely delivery of products to customers and sales points

• Maintain cleanliness and conduct basic safety checks of the vehicle

• Report vehicle, delivery, or receipt-related issues promptly

• Comply with traffic laws, company procedures, and financial control guidelines

• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of Grade 10/12 completed.

• Valid 3rd Level or ‘Derek’, or above Driver’s License.

• Minimum of 3 years driving experience in FMCG or delivery operations.

• Good knowledge of Addis Ababa routes and surrounding areas.

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.

• Ability to work closely with a sales team

• Physically fit and willing to assist with field support tasks

• Basic numeracy skills with the ability to issue and handle receipts accurately
