Senior Accountant

Job Description

Managemonth,quarter, and year end closing, including journal entries and financial statements.

Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, analyze budget variances, and perform cost analysis.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations, and prepare audit schedules for external audits.

Reviewjunior accountants' work, assign tasks, and support training.

Develop andimprove accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor budget performance.

Supervise bookkeepers and AP/AR staff, providing technical guidance.

Recommendimprovementstoaccounting processes, systems, and controls.

Prepare, review, and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.

Perform other finance-related duties assigned by the Head of Finance.

Calculate and process salaries, commissions, and pensions.

Job Requirements

7+yearsrelevant work experience which 2 of them shall be in a Senior Role

Workexperience in a real estate or Construction environment is advantageous

Proventrack record related to successful tax audit
