Senior Accountant 

  Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our daily accounting operations. The role requires strong technical knowledge in accounting and finance, hands-on experience in preparing financial statements, tax compliance, and supervising junior staff. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting management decisions, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and standards.

  Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.

• Manage daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.

• Support external and internal audits.

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making.

• Manage expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 4/6 years accounting experience. In accounting, with at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role.

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, QuickBooks, ERP systems).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
