Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, competent, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, manage financial reporting, monitor project expenditures, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain proper financial documentation and internal control procedures.

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

• Ensure timely preparation of tax declarations and compliance with applicable tax regulations.

• Monitor construction costs, operational expenses, and cash flow.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure the availability of supporting documents.

• Execute other assigned duties of the department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.

• Experience in real estate development, construction, or project-based accounting is highly desirable.

• Good understanding of applicable Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting requirements.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
