Senior Accountant

Job Description

 EducationBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.

ExperienceMinimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role. Experience in the construction or engineering sectors is desirable.

KnowledgeComprehensive knowledge of IFRS, Ethiopian tax laws, budgeting, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Job Requirements

• SkillsLeadership advanced accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting, auditing, and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems.

• Personal AttributesEthical, detail-oriented, proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities and mentoring staff.
