Job Summary: The Senior Card Banking Officer is responsible for overseeing card banking operations, ensuring efficient transaction processing, timely resolution of issues, and effective coordination with branches and external service providers. The role supports accurate reconciliation, system performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of the bank’s card and digital payment services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitor daily card banking transactions and system performance to detect and address irregularities promptly.

Investigate and resolve complex transaction issues in coordination with branches, customers, and service providers.

Coordinate reconciliation activities and follow up on outstanding items to ensure accurate financial records.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Support the implementation of process improvements related to digital payment systems and card services.

Prepare regular management reports on transaction trends, issue resolution status, and system performance.

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.

Provide guidance and support to junior staff on routine operational matters as needed.

Job Requirements

Master’s /B.sc Degree in Computer Science or Information Science or Information Systems or Electrical and Computer Engineering or Information Technology and related fields; with 4/6 years of related work experience respectively of which 2 years as officer role in IT areas.
