Job Description

ANTA is a well-established Ethiopian company with over three decades of dedicated experience in the manufacturing industry. Specializing in medium and heavy-duty vehicle bodies.

 Position Title: Senior Cost Accountant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor job costing, overhead allocation, and the standard cost of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.

• Variance Analysis: Identify and report discrepancies between standard manufacturing costs and actual expenses.

• Supervise periodic physical inventory audits, reconcile system records with warehouse counts, and track slow-moving or obsolete stock.

• Advanced knowledge of standard costing, variance calculation, and overhead allocation

• Prepare cost reports for management.

• Report production costs, inventory movements, and profitability.

• ERP Proficiency: Deep experience with manufacturing-focused ERP systems

Job Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: - Graduated with a first degree from recognized university or college in Accounting

• Experience: -At least 5 years and above of relevant experience. Manufacturing Experience is Mandatory.
