Senior Credit & Financing Analyst

Job Description

Purpose of the Job: To realize effective credit decision making by producing accurate credit analysis report and ensuring sound customer credit risk grading

Generic Functions:

• Take up the roles of the Manager in his/her absence

• Actively participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget of the division

• Mentor and enable staffs below his /grades towards achieving their effective performance

• Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct; embody the bank’s good culture and corporate image to the public

• Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices

Specific Functions:

• Collect and check information and documents from the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team, internal database and external sources (except the customer) for further credit processing

• Assess the customer credit applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, credit viability, customer payment history and customer credit-worthiness

• Prepare a comprehensive credit appraisal report independently for credit committee deliberation

• Review credit limits of existing customers to determine an increase or decrease of the credit limits based on borrower’s repayment history, financial strength, and history of default, assets and liabilities

Job Requirements

• Qualification: MA/BA Banking & Finance, Business Management, Management, Accounting, Economics or any other related fields.            

• Experience: 5/7 Five/Seven years of relevant Banking experience out of which at least two/2 years of relevant experience as Credit Analyst, Financing Analyst, Senior Credit review Officer, Senior Credit Risk Management Officer or equivalent role.
