Senior Functional Consultant

Job Description

Temer Properties is pleased to invite qualified and experienced professionals to apply for the position of Senior Functional Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the System Development Lead.

Key Purpose Statement:

The Senior Functional Consultant role is to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s ERP system and related applications by providing technical assistance, user support, system troubleshooting, and process enhancement support to ensure efficient business operations and user satisfaction.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Implement and roll out new modules and features within the in-house ERP system 
• Work closely with internal departments (Finance, HR, Operations, Sales) to understand business needs 
• Configure and optimize Odoo modules based on internal requirements 
• Provide ongoing support to internal users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution 
• Analyze system usage and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency 
• Coordinate with the development team for bug fixes, upgrades, and enhancements 
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system changes before release 
• Prepare user guides, training materials, and conduct training sessions 
• Assist in data migration, cleanup, and reporting
• Ensure data integrity and system reliability 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field 
• Above 4 years of experience in ERP implementation and/or support 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with in-house or custom-built systems
• Basic understanding of Odoo development (Python, XML) 
• Experience in process improvement or business analysis 
• Familiarity with Agile or iterative development environments 
• Experience supporting ERP users internally (not client-facing) 
• Hands-on experience with Odoo (functional or techno-functional) 
• Strong understanding of internal business processes (Finance, Inventory, HR, Procurement, etc.) 
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills 
• Strong communication skills for working with non-technical users 
• Basic knowledge of SQL and reporting tools
